Jake Gervase

Meet Jake

Jake Gervase was born in Davenport, IA, and moved to Austin in the Spring of 2021 with his wife Hailey, and welcomed their daughter Ellis in 2022, and recently welcomed their second daughter Andie in 2024. Growing up, Jake knew he wanted to play football at the highest level but was not offered any Division 1 scholarships. Pursuing a walk on opportunity at the University of Iowa, Jake went on to become a three year starter and was voted team captain by his teammates during his senior season.He plans on taking this gritty, hard working approach to each and every real estate transaction he is a part of. 

 
Following a distinguished career at Iowa, Jake had a similar path to the NFL. Going undrafted, and not getting signed during initial free agency, Jake was given a tryout with the LA Rams. He was able to turn that tryout into a four year career with the team, including winning Superbowl LVI  in 2021. 

 
During the transition out of professional football, Jake and his older brother Sam started StayTinyTx, a tiny home business based in Austin, TX. With the goal of providing more affordable housing in the city, along with income producing opportunities for partners interested in a tiny home, Jake oversees the build process and completion of custom builds here in Austin. Wanting to tie in his competitive nature, and his tiny home business, Jake is excited to attack real estate in Texas head on to help both buyers and sellers achieve their real estate goals. 

 Outside of real estate, Jake enjoys spending time with his family and friends, playing golf, and also supporting the Rally for Reid Foundation through the Rally for Reid Football Camp. Starting the camp in 2021, Jake and a number of his former teammates have helped raise close to $250,000 for the Rally for Reid Foundation and the continued fight against pediatric cancer!
